These beautiful creatures are almost considered vegetables, but they do feel pain and are suffering tremendously.

Suffocating to death is possibly the most painful way to die. Yet not only do they suffocate, there mouths are punctured with sharp hooks or they could be crushed by the weight of hundreds or thousands of fish above them while suffocating.
