Peanut butter is easily available, why make it? Because this version is really yummy, its fresh, can be made organic and preservative free! Tastes great on bread, with jam, to spread on pancakes, for tarts and so much more... Within vegan butters, you can make almond, calcium and also use seeds like sunflower, sesame and melon seeds to make it. They all have their own distinctive flavors. The trick is to grind it for long enough that the oil starts oozing it out. This does mean that you spend some time stopping the grinder and scraping the peanut off the sides to make sure it gets ground evenly. You could also add a bit of flavoring like a dash of chilly or cinnamon to spice it up... have fun!
