This is probably the most amazing dish out of the entire Bunt cuisine. Rotti's are thin dry flakes made of rice, available at mangalore stores. Traditionally paired with a thick, spicy chicken gravy..its' to die for. And it's easy to replace the meat with soy chunks in it. The meat doesn't add much to it because the curry and rotti as a combination is so delicious and addictive, its difficult to stop eating it! It's not just popular with bunts but with anyone who tries it..
But haan, takes some amount of work and time. To simplify things, you could use readymade coconut milk. I have given proportions for it, and though it turns out well, it doesn't come close to the fresh coconut milk version.
