This is an old favorite and popular traditional recipe, made with chicken/meat. Aadjadina, is the *Tulu word for Sukkha, which means a dry dish, made with spices and fresh grated coconut. Though vegetables are also often made this style, they are typically not as spicy as the recipe used for meat. The meat is replaced with soya chunks here, it takes half the time to cook as that of meat... tastes awesome, and is ofcourse much healthier.
One tip: if the masala is too spicy, soak more tamarind in 3 tbsp water and add to it and a little more salt should balance it out
